I’ve known people like this my entire life, used to call the Rockefeller Republicans. They enjoyed getting invited to the parties and they envy the democrat lifestyle with Sunday mornings free to read the Times/Post while watching the talkers versus heading to church to read the words on the screen and giving away their obligatory 10% just so it looks good on their taxes. They just wish the pastors/priests/ministers would stop talking about God, Christ and the sanctity of life.

They are just democrats, pretending to be for more favorable tax rates which will benefit them as they promote it as something for everyone. They live in the same zip codes, use the same cleaning lady, their kids go to the same schools, they vacation in the same spots and they’re just as insecure as white democrats.
