I’ve been a Republican for decades. Have known hundreds of Republicans in family, school, socially and work, in many places nationwide. Also have known many Democrats
The statements by Lincoln Project and their twitter followers sound like the Democrats I’ve known, not Republicans. If Lincoln Project is really trying to peel off Republicans as they claim, why do they use the arguments and rhetoric of Democrats? Eg, tonight they’re joining the media in condemning Trump for not denouncing the Kenosha shooter. Anybody who will be moved by that rhetoric is already someone who hated Trump and very very likely voted against him in 2016 - and is almost certainly a registered Democrat. IMO, They’re only alienating Republicans , but I read that they’re making big money so perhaps that makes it all worthwhile

They impeached Trump after accusing him of doing exactly what Biden admitted to doing on videotape. So if Biden won the election, God forbid, Republicans could impeach him the second he takes office and if the Rats protest, all Repubs got to say is “Hey, you impeached Trump for the same thing and with NO evidence. Well here we got Biden on videotape admitting he withheld money from the Ukraine unless they fired the prosecutor investigating his son. So Trump was unfit for office but now Biden is?”
He’s on the ticket for one reason. He will get more votes from Never Trumper Republicans than any other Democrat.
