Third Reich Minister of Propaganda Joseph Goebbels once said, “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it.” The 1619 Project tells many doozies, but the biggest lie that the New York Times propagates, in this radical and anti-American document, is that the Revolutionary War was fought because of a desire to maintain slavery, which they thought the British were about to abolish.
The lie makes your head explode in its sheer audacity. Thomas Paine’s Common Sense is the pamphlet that circulated for months before the war, generating discussions at taverns and other public venues, and yet there’s nary a word within its pages about slavery. Instead, Paine’s work focused on galvanizing the colonies to break free from England and create an independent republic, a system of self-government, that was not monarchical and that recognized the rights of the individual.
The other document that lays out the reasons for the Revolutionary War is of course the Declaration of Independence. Twenty-seven reasons are given for the need to break from the tyranny of England. Taxation without representation, a hierarchical system that favored British soldiers and gave them unfair rights over the citizens of the colonies, an inability to respond to the needs of its colonial subjects, and other complaints are given as reasons for the need for war. Again, the desire to maintain slavery is not among those complaints listed.

My guess is Soros. He is bound and determine to destroy this
republic because he has said we are the only thing standing between the creation of a global government. I believe he wants one of his sons to be the head of that government. Before you yell “conspiracy theory” look at how much money he has spent in the US and in Europe to accomplish that.
The Smithsonian is the United States Government, perpetuating these lies. Of course Soros, who should be in jail and his revolutionary business nationalized and assets stripped, and Google, another US government agency controlled entity, all are behind this revisionist lie.
The biggest lie is that America started in 1619. We were a Britush colony and not a sovereign nation until 1776. The other big lie is that there was monolithic support for slavery. There wasn’t. Slavery lasted less than 100 years after America became a nation.
The likes of Soros are collecting 18% to 25% interest on loans made via the Internet.
Biden, Harris and Trump have made no promise to lower those interest rates.
The likes of Soros would work the tax slaves and high interest rate slaves harder.
And it was the West, primarily the UK and the US, that ended most slavery worldwide. Listening to these anti-US 1619 people, you would think the US was the only place in the world that had slavery. This is a huge lie.
Why don’t they teach history in the schools any more? Perhaps they don’t want people to learn from history?
There are 5 countries where slavery is still legal—all in Africa and the Middle East.
The Caribbean islands were the truly lucrative places for slaves.
American colonies were simply ungrateful troublemakers who refused to help pay for the French and Indian War.
The US still has tax slavery.
White evil elitists pushing lies to make gullible Blacks & Browns believe that America and Capitalism are enslaving them.
When in reality those two are probably the only things to ever lift them out of poverty and slavery.

I’ve always thought Bill Ayers and Company was the ‘brains’ behind Barry, BLM, Occutards, etc. Soros funded. Wild guess of course, but I think Barry was groomed from college days...started out with the Commie Frank, ValJars Commie father, Bill Ayers father.

Slaves were like “asylum seekers” and illegal immigrants, mainly unwelcome by most, but tolerated by those in power.
