Writing on Instagram on Thursday, former Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher attempted to demean the NBA’s Wednesday night playoff boycott by unfavorably comparing it to a Packers legend’s performance.
Quarterback Brett Favre starred for the Packers on Dec. 23, 2003, beating the Raiders on “Monday Night Football” the day after his father, Irvin, died of a heart attack.
“Brett Favre played the MNF game the day his dad died, threw 4 TDs in the first half and was a legend for playing in the face of adversity,” wrote the author of the official 54Urlacher account on Instagram. “NBA players boycott the playoffs because a dude reaching for a knife, wanted on [a] felony sexual assault warrant, was shot by police.”
NBA players did not play in Wednesday night’s postseason games to protest the shooting of Jacob Blake, a Black man, in the back by police in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Blake, who survived, is an Evanston Township High School alum.

It's called insurrection, and it's been done many times in history. It's also had to be put down many times in the past, either that, or they lose their society to lawlessness and mob rule.

You are correct, and I will add, I think that many black criminals are now operating under the belief that they have impunity to do what they want because the know police are terrified of having to utilize deadly force against them because of the BLM crap. It seems clear to me that the criminal in Kenosha felt totally bullet proof because he didn’t believe the police would do any more than just try to wrestle with him. And to a certain extent...I think police are in fact terrified. Every encounter with a black man is now video recorded by multiple people. Those videos are being edited to fit a narrative. It is frightening. When watching these reports of the riots...every single one of the rioters is recording every moment. Just like the other night...when the first turd got shot by Rittenhouse...everyone (but the one guy who helped him) were recording the guy dying. It’s sad.

The ratings for all these sports teams have been in the tank. The people are increasingly watching the Republican convention. The poor little ball players know they can’t compete and their ratings will be even worse. Especially tonite when Trump accepts his nomination. That’s the real reason for the shutdown.
