The thing about Donna Brazile and Juan Williams is that with them EVERYTHING is seen through the lens of race.
Donna Brazille is a diehard racist. EVERYTHING is race to her.
8. Keynote speakers on too late, networks coverage 10 PM EST. We’re going to bed
Plus the young folks in bed.
Poor, very poor.
The looks on their faces....PRICELESS!
How I wish when Demonrats like Brazille rant about our country being soooo racist, a Pubbie would remind them that the President who freed the slaves by issuing the EMANCIPATION PROCLAMATION was President Lincoln—the leader of the REPUBLICAN Party!
Wow!
Thanks!
The key: POSITIVITY.
All the Dems could do was regurgitate various twists on “Trump sucks, America is racist, and Biden is...well...okay”. There was no enthusiasm, no positive vibe. It was like they were telling us that “life is going to suck, even if we get elected”.
After watching last night, I felt GOOD. I don’t doubt many others did as well.
Donald J. Trump, 2016
I just watch it on CSpan. I got tired of the interruptions. I dont know if they count CSpan or OAN in the ratings but the peace of watching without comment is golden.
Donald Dems are a thing!
Tapper looks especially distressed!
Well, the Emancipation Proclamation actually freed no one. It specifically excluded states or territories “not in rebellion” as of January 1, 1863, or in areas under federal control, including New Orleans and several parishes (counties) in Louisiana, as well as counties in Virginia that were under control of the Union army.
So, the EC did not apply to slave states such as Kentucky, Delaware, Maryland, Missouri, Tennessee, and the counties of West Virginia (as West Virginia had not yet become a separate state). It only applied to states and territories that had seceded and were not under federal control or jurisdiction; in other words, states and territories that were not subject to Lincoln’s authority.
The slaves were not formally and legally freed until the passage and ratification of the 13th Amendment in 1865.
It was FABULOUS!!!! I NEVER watch these things, but I sneaked a peek and was BLOWN AWAY!
Same here. But I live in a blue district so I always pick up a sample democrat ballot and give a wink to the republican volunteers. They always break into big smiles.
Hey! Where’s John Kerry? His long face would fit right in there!
I am a Bama fan and Herschel is my all-time favorite Georgia Bulldog.
I was very pleased by the first night as well but couldn’t they have any kind of an audience at all? Even if they had to be spaced apart, would have been nice to have had a nice applause for the speakers, instead of having them speak into an empty room.
