Remember when parsley was served as garnish at every restaurant meal in America?
Nikki Haley is the parsley of the GOP.
No matter what Republican voters order, the GOP tries to add Nikki Haley to the meal.

We're not playing the George H.W. Bush after Reagan game again.

Yup. Used to pick it off my plate and throw it away. The GOP keeps shoving her in our faces, and America always tosses her aside. When will they get the message?

Once again, exactly why did Nickey Haley lose her last job?

Huh? That’s pretty disrespectful to Haley.
She was incredible in the UN.

Sure Niki can speak. Sure she is attractive. But would she be a strong leader?
To: Cowboy Bob
I thought she was there as an Indian alternative to sometimes Indian/sometimes black Kamala.

She was a grandstander in the UN. She’s actually a Romney Republican who is an ambitious closet Never Trumper. All about Nikki.
Her speech/ghostwriter is Jonah Goldberg’s wife.
Better to keep her on the reservation than off for now, I suppose. (Plus she out-Indias Kamala.)

“She was incredible in the UN.”
She lambasted Trump during the 2016 election. But she mimicked Trump’s speech and ideas during her UN tenure. So Trump was incredible in the UN.

But would she be a strong leader?
She completely collapsed over the flag in SC....so, no.

For the most part the UN suited Haley. It’s a useless body and she stated the US position forcefully and adroitly. She had little autonomy. Haley is a Romney clone in a prettier package. She may play on the team when it suits her but her real beliefs & sympathies are Globalist. She is directed by ambition not patriotism.

The Confederate flag is not part of her heritage so it doesn’t mean anything to her.
I thought her speech last night was too much about patting herself on the back, reminding everyone what a great job she did as governor.

I think her inclusion in primetime last night was a nod to the establishment. I thought her speech was the weakest of the three (Tim Scott's was probably the best, and Donald Trump Jr did a good job of serving the red meat and torching Biden). Nikki Haley didn't do a bad job mind you, but her speech was literally one of those paint by numbers "Republican" speeches that any establishment Republican from Jeb Bush to Mitt Romney could have given (we really aren't racist, we like immigrants, we are kind and compassionate conservatives, etc).
I think "Parsley" is a good description, you don't love it, you don't hate it, you probably wouldn't even miss it if it was gone, but it's just kind of there....

Nickey Haley had no business giving a speech at the RNC, let alone in prime time. Candace Owens would have been a heck of a lot better.

I know the conventional wisdom is that convention speeches are done to signal, "Here I come in four years," but this was over the top even for that. And I said directly to the TV, "You have nerve," when Haley talked about the cancel culture.
