Dressed in black and carrying signs like “Defund the Police, Peduto is a coward,” about 150 protesters marched to Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto’s home Sunday after rallying in Mellon Park in Point Breeze.
Protesters were outraged by a “low-visibility arrest” of a protester in Oakland on Saturday during a Black Lives Matter protest.
The arrest of 24-year-old Matthew Cartier came several hours into the protest in Oakland. Social media video shows police officers, not in uniform, emerge from an unmarked van and pull Cartier inside. Pittsburgh police Cmdr. Ed Trapp said that Cartier was blocking an intersection unnecessarily, stepping in front of cars and attempting to direct traffic during the protest. Protesters on Sunday said that Cartier wasn’t merely arrested, but that he was abducted.
A press conference held by Peduto on the incident earlier in the afternoon apparently didn’t impress the protesters.
“This is about Pittsburgh not accepting that treatment — that is, saying ‘no’ to Pittsburgh with government vehicles abducting us off the streets,” said one of the speakers who declined to identify herself.

Peduto along with the idiot former Governor of South Carolina were among the first to endorse the cancel culture.
With Hayley, it was removing the Confederate flag from a Confederate memorial. With Peduto, it was removing a statue of Stephen Foster, the greatest American composer the city has ever produced because it offended his PC sensibilities.
Those who willingly bow to the mob deserve to get consumed by the mob.

There have been a number of cases of violent “protesters” illegally creating roadblocks that ended poorly. A 9 year old girl was killed at one in Atlanta, for instance.

Why didn’t the other “protestors” yell out “Stranger Danger” when he was abducted?
The government is kidnapping protesting dissidents off the streets, dissecting them and creating replicants which are then released back into the protester population for future assignment.
There has been very little of this bullshit in "da burgh".
These morons won't venture into the suburbs because they know the working class folks WILL protect their families anx what they've worked for.

Haven't heard of anything ongoing like Portland, Seattle, DC, Filthy, Atlanta or Chicago.
