Newsweek Apologizes For Kamala ‘Birther’ Piece – But There’s Still No Evidence Her Parents Were Citizens When She Was Born
DNC talking points: Hey, stop heckling the female POC anchor baby, you racist, sexist, xenophobes!
It has been established her parents were foreign students on student visas when they met and married. According to Harris and others the parents were very involved in anti-war movement of the 60’s and 70’s and openly protested in Oakland. The non-citizenship of the parents is not issue, I would think, but rather the clause: “..and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, ..” For instance a child born to foreign born diplomats assigned to a US consulate would not be subject to US jurisdiction. Kamala was born to foreign born, non-citizen, college students. Would she subject to US jurisdiction or Jamaican jurisdiction? Jamaica’s constitution insists she belongs to Jamaica. Whose is she? That is for SCOTUS to determine. (
