I’m about 15 miles south/southwest of Trump NJ hq, and there are Osprey pairs flying over head frequently.

There was a historical argument over "natural born" and presidential candidates. One in particular, but in this century John McCain, Barack Obama & now Kamala Harris have all been nominees and at least one served as POTUS. It's a dead issue that would require a constitutional change to clarify the situation and that'll never happen.
I think the Left stirred it up over Kamala to try to connect her with Obama. They'll paint her as the best of both worlds: Hillary & Barack with only senile old Joe standing in her way.
We need to be asking who would Kamala pick as her VP. My guess is not a white male.

I'm old guy too, and the one asset that we have is a lot experience (if we can remember it.) Your post made me remember it. When I was kid it was simple. If you were fresh off the boat, you were not considered an American. If your parents were Jamaican, you were not considered American. If your parents were Indian (as in India), you were not considered American. Now that was just simple kid thinking, but you know what, there's was something to it. There was an inherent understanding of what it was to be American by us white kids. Having non-American parents puts anyone at a disadvantage of learning to be American. Their parents aren't American so their parents can't teach them to be American. Harris is the model of this. She IS anti-American. She IS a Marxist. She was raised by two foreigners. What more do you expect. I don't give a crap about birther stuff. I do give a crap about Marxists living in our Republic.
Call it discrimination if you want. But the important thing is Harris is anti-American and anti-capitalism. There is no way I am ever going to vote for a half-breed, foreigner female. She may be born here, but she'll always be a foreigner to me because she just isn't American.

Being Born here makes you a Citizen at Birth, even if your Parents are Illegal Invaders (unfortunately).
That is a completely different than being a Natural Born Citizen whose Parents are American Citizens at Birth or through Naturalization.
Neither Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Bobby Jindal or Barack Obama were Natural Born Citizens, period.
Unfortunately he fails to mention some of the other outrageous things in the current House Bill including the Nationwide Elimination of Voter ID Laws and bailing out Blue States who were already in the hole long before the Kung Flu showed up.
There are plenty of Poisonous parts of that multi thousand page Bill that have nothing to do with putting money into People’s pockets to get them over the Kung Flu Shutdown mess.

It is now defined as if born here, you’re qualified. That and be at least 35 and have lived in the USA the past 10 years.
Nothing else matters to most of the country.
We lost the fight over exactly what a natural born citizen is. To the majority, it is someone, regardless of the parents, who was born on US soil.

I read that her father was hired by Stanford University as a professor of economics because he was a Marxist and they wanted his voice on their faculty. Bu he is a known, recognized Marxist.
I am a white guy whose ancestors, some of them, came from Ireland well over 200 years ago. I am now concerned that I might be related to her. I understand her genealogy contains an Irish guy who owned a plantation in Jamaica and a bunch of slaves. This could ruin my conservative reputation - might have to quarantine myself again.
