IMHO Barr was buttered up on his great allegiance to the ‘rule of law’...(he’s one of the few in Washington who understands what the term actually means)... Now Barr feels he must be above the fray - a noble but totally indefensible position to take in these times.
I fear he’s doing a ‘paul ryan’ and opting out of doing what’s right in exchange for polishing his Boy Scout persona for the benefit of only one person...himself. Very commie move against him...
My only hope now is that Durham is building a Rico case against all of the conspirators. Usually you hear of cases being built from the bottom up using indictments of underlings as the conveyance. But with Rico a common criminal enterprise is identified, evidence gathered and presented to a judge for arrest warrants with indictments and trials to follow. Plus, I don’t see how Barr could say that spying on Trump before and after the election occurred but nothing will come of it because of a “lack of intent” as was rumored last week.

The DoJ and especially the FBI are NOT law enforcement agencies. They are political agencies. Always have been. Nothing is going to happen. If snipers can shoot pregnant women with impunity. If federal jackbooted thugs can gas and immolate bunches of children and skate.

I admit to growing anxious, impatient, this has dragged on too long no matter what obstacles the AG is facing, he simply must understand he could lose the war by allowing the coup plotters to run out the clock OR BY FAILING TO ADDRESS THE DEMORALIZATION OF THE ELECTORATE. The latter is worse.
One of the obstacles Barr is probably deliberating about is the spector of DC court corruption obstructing his prosecutions of coup plotters. We already see clearly the horror of a wrongful continuance in the Flynn case. How much more would DC courts emaciate the law to protect traitors in its camp?
What Barr could do to instill confidence, could do today, is file an emergency petition with the US Supreme Court based on a clear violation of the constitutional separation of powers by the Judicial branch against the Executive branch citing the Flynn case and request an immediate transfer of jurisdiction to a federal court outside DC.
The President could follow by adding a complaint declaration to the DOJ petition citing bad faith.
Barr could then amend his petition in light of the President’s filed complaint declaration and request the US Supreme Court to order the DC courts into receivership citing bad faith with special masters appointed to oversee and review corrupt practices of these courts, AND requesting leave to pull all cases out of these courts transferring jurisdiction of existing and prospective cases while the DC courts are in receivership.
Simply put, Barr needs to be bold.
Because as of now, the coup plotters and their axis of powers in DC and globally appear to be running rings around Barr’s DOJ. Barr may think such criticisms are unwarranted and lacking but he is rapidly deflating and demoralizing the public. If he thinks this is unimportant, he is deficient in his assessment.
A countermove on the DC courts regarding Flynn would risk no loss of political capital and could bring overwhelming public support to pressure the Judicial branch to discipline its lower courts.
Moving coup cases outside DC would allow prosecutions to proceed in courtrooms devoid of bias.

I see a nation on a precipice and vigilant patriots reasonably pointing out that there has been no indictments after three and one-half years of an ongoing coup.
And I see a sit-back-and-enjoy-the-show naive.
