Biden won’t, can’t, couldn’t, wouldn’t, and etc. I really don’t think he’ll make to the election. IMHO
The media being silent on the dementia issue is all you need to know when looking for evidence that this is a problem for the Biden campaign.
Maybe Biden will mail-in his debate performance.
Show up in-person. No earpieces, no notes, no human or electronic ‘prompters’.
But they will still figure out a way to cheat.

Biden’s team will demand all kinds of concessions from Trump on format and venue etc. The way they see it less is more and the less Biden is seen the better his chances. They don’t care if there are debates at all. They will demand format that gives Biden the best shot.
It’s a more extreme version of the Obama strategy — to allow people to see and create a candidate of their choosing. As soon as Biden opens his mouth he destroys the fantasy.

Maybe the Biden camp will agree to let the moderators stand in his stead. They can ask the questions and then answer the questions on his behalf. Cut out the middle man.

As Sleepy Joe does softball interviews in his basement, I’ve wondered how many people are behind the camera gesturing, mouthing answers and holding up cue cards.
This reminds me of a Danny Kaye skit, in which he impersonates an old, decrepit conductor who can barely make it from the wings to the podium. (It takes him about 15 minutes, while trembling and shaking.))
If the Trump campaign could find that TV clip and superimpose Biden’s face onto Danny Kaye’s, it would be hilarious.
I expect that Biden will go to the debate, that the moderators will be liberals, supporters, and Never Trumpers, and that Biden will get helpful questions, likely will have them in advance.
So the peasants can handle the mandate to be six feet apart in public places but Trump and Biden can’t be 15 feet apart for a debate. Got it. Rats are such wimps. The whole country is doing stuff online and they can’t figure out how to do that? OH yeah, their candidate is a dementia-addled fool.

This is the first phantom candidate I’ve ever seen seeking the presidency. It’s like he doesn’t exist. They put him on TV now and then. They have him address groups virtually, but he does not interact. What are you laughing at in there? I know I’m a naturally funny guy, but… (interruption) I’m telling you, it’s like he doesn’t exist. It’s a phantom. Except his face not disfigured. But he’s, you know, phantom of the campaign. Maybe that would be a great ad. A play off of The Phantom of the Opera.
