So all the NYers who moved to FL to escape NY taxes cannot make it back to their NYC apartments/co-ops/condos.

If you live in a Big City and haven't moved to, at the minimum the suburbs, this is one of the last warnings.
YOU NEED TO GET OUT!!

Where is the commerce clause when you need it?
While I think that COVID has the potential to undo the EU, if it has the potential to restore State Sovereignty to a higher level than existed immediately preceding Lincoln, I will be very (pleasantly) surprised.

Imagine if a Republican mayor or governor did this.
“Making criminals out of sick people.”
Wait a minute. Just dredge up all the slogans used against Republicans back during the AIDS crisis. There were dozens of them. Wheres ActUP? Where’s the Gay Men’s Health Crisis?
It was all politics, boys and girls. The whole thing.

A few months ago Texas required people traveling from New York to quarantine and placed checkpoints at the Louisiana border.

I think freedom of movement is pretty well established under the Constitution. I don’t think this will stand.

I think I’ll wait until after the elections before I publicly share my views on this issue. Maybe it will cut down on voter fraud for the general election.
Other than that, I think it’s illegal.

California had road blocks during the Great Depression to keep Okies and Arkies out.
I think, as phase two - total economic collapse - kicks in, we’ll see a lot more of this. I’m picking up 20 more chicks at the post office today. Layers.

Progressives are tripling and quadrupling down on destroying NY City, its finances and its social fabric.

Meanwhile of course these quarantines are for the peasants only, as Cuomo has amply demonstrated.
