Was just disputing a “masks are wonderful” person who is as irrational as you.
Masks will only reduce exposure in certain situations.
They were as outraged at that statement as you!

The problem is that masks don’t reduce your exposure and they don’t reduce the spread of your particles to others. If you are sick stay home. If you are well, you don’t have any business wearing a mask.
Staying out of people’s faces works, but its the people you hug who are going to get you. Staying in air conditioned spaces without UV treatment of the recycled air is how many people get this from strangers.
But, I am outraged by the statement that has nothing to lose.. because they abandoned reason to support madness. The lockdowns didn’t work and the masks don’t work. It is theater and you are good with it. I am not.
