She was the Director of CDC until 2014 when Obama appointed her to be the Ambassador go his President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief. She had to be approved by the Senate. Then President Trump appointed her to the White House task force. She’s not Civil Service, and has only held appointed positions, as far as I can see, she can be fired.
Nobody with a brain is joining the team. Better release more rumors of an impending vaccine to get that to happen.
All of the people I named would crawl over broken glass to join that team.

Professor Harvey Risch totally disagrees with Deborah here over HCQ. And he is even more credentialed than Birx is.

There is another professor from Stanford who actually has a Nobel Prize. He totally trashes Birx and Fauci over the lockdowns which he called totally wrong and counter productive.

Dr. Birx is doing her best while being attacked on all sides. It was most ungentlemany of Trump to attack her publicly.
Everyone dislikes a boss who calls an employee on the carpet in front of the whole staff.This makes Trump look very bad...volatile temper , attacking a respected woman.
Not a good look for him three months before the election.
His people need to rein him in a bit.

Eastern PA is likely close to herd immunity while Western PA is not.
If Birx hasn't informed you of that likelihood then she isn't doing her job.
I would strongly recommend Fauci and Birx take a permanent vacation to the US base at the North Pole and have relations with themselves till they die.
Meanwhile, all Internet and other communications links and TV cameras would be cut off from said US base till day after the elections.
The new Trump campaign manager needs to take away Trump’s Twitter access. We know it won’t happen, but I cringe at his unforced “errors” when he needs the support of women (”soccer moms”) and then calls Dr. Birx “pathetic.”
We may all agree the Fauci and Birx go and say things the White House might disagree with, but going off on Birx with only 90 days until the election is totally counter productive given the MSM will take it and run commentary and ads on how Trump treats women.
Joe Biden can't form a coherent sentence, has had two brain surgeries isn't going to to debate, is a mandarin puppet has a terrible BLM voting record - but the media would have you believe he is leading.
If you in the position to be on this team you probably have pretty high level cool job already - joining president Trump's team I doubt these people would retain their positions or be allowed sabbatical and the Nazis would find a way for them to get fired. But most likely there isn't going to be a vaccine for a while if ever.

Birx is not being a team player when she steps to a microphone and says things that undermine Trump. Trump is her boss. Whatever disagreements she has with the policy need to be hashed out in closed door meetings and not in the media.
And once Trump makes a decision she needs to get onboard and support it.

That being said Trump should also admonish her in private. Or if he thinks she is not performing to his satisfaction, fire her and replace her.
I agree that trashing her on Twitter while keeping her employed just makes him look bad.
I’ve supported Trump from the moment he won the nomination in 2016 (but not before). But, when we lose this country, Trump is not going to be able to live it down. All of his stupid unforced errors are killing us and may ultimately cost us our freedom.
I am in Western PA and I don’t see any big wave of people dropping dead on the streets.
Indeed almost 3/4 of the 200 deaths in my county were in nursing homes.
He should be focused on Fauci whose transgressions have been WAY more egregious. As I commented earlier, Douglas MacArthur was fired for a lot less.
This is like a 16 an hour day deal at this point. Its from dusk till dawn until its not. Its always easy to do someone elses job. Lets say Blix isn't evil she just dumb or tired or just wrong Then have the president tweet when you do something stupid in one of the numerous interviews you are doing daily, I know me, I'd be pissed. I'm sure it helps morale around the whitehouse too. I'm not trying to persuade you she isn't a moron but you unroll this a bit and it doesn't look good. No I don't think its a huge deal.
