And Forrest rebuked the Klan later in life. You figure that's the element of Forrest's life Rep. Dismuke and the folks at Fort Dixie were celebrating?

Yawn.
He shouldn’t resign over that. Fake controversy.

Sorry. Lefty orthodoxy is you don’t get a second chance, unless you are alive and running as a democrat.

The dems embrace their own klansmen...ROBERT BYRD and HARRY TRUMAN....

Bedford Forrest was the best general on either side of that conflict. History is written by the winners. The main stream media of the North hated Forrest.
Sherman and Grant hated him.
He fought for his country with cunning and bravery. Sherman, in 1864 said of Forrest, “I've got to get Forrest if it takes ten thousand lives and breaks the treasury.”

Lewis was the man who made a career out of being hit over the head on the Pettis Bridge in 1965. Good work if you can get it. A friend living in Georgia said it was obvious Lewis had severe cognitive deficits from his encounter, in plainer language, he was so stupid as to be on the retarded level. Not that that ever hurt him with blacks of the progressive dems.

To my knowledge Lothrop Stoddard was not involved with the Second KKK. He was definitely a eugenicist and had a low opinion about negro intellectual capacity. In the first part of the 20th century there was general concern among white people about the number of mental defectives and congenital retards that would have been naturally culled from the population in earlier times were flourishing due to advances in epidemiology and general improvement in living standards. This was not a hoax and the eugenics laws passed probably did reduce the number of these people in the general population. The individuals I know of personally who were sterilized should under no circumstances have been allowed to reproduce.

Hope he doesn’t cave. He should tell his detractors to go jump.

The book HOODED AMERICANISM states Stoddard was a klan leader in Massachusetts
To: Hambone 1934
Since Stoddard was a very upper middle class WASPY Harvard grad it seems unlikely he would wish to mingle with the plebeians of the Second Klan. Not that he had any complaints about their philosophy just they were so beneath him, not a one would be let in the Harvard Club or be allowed to join the Antheneum.

He might not have wanted it out there,either..Remember Robert Byrd was just a paper pusher and had no idea what the klan was doing when he wan’t there...He never hurt blacks ,so he said....
To: Responsibility2nd
Absolutely. You can go on Nancy Pelosis own website and see a transcript of her eulogy honoring Robert Byrd.
The very idea that the speaker of the house could and did honor a KKK grand Kleagle is astonishing.
.................................................
So where are the calls from BLM and all the other race baiters for that skank Pee-low-see to resign?

Byrd was a ‘man of the people’ he did robe up and enjoyed a well organized cross burning.

I know people who SHOULD have been sterilized and should under no circumstances have been allowed to reproduce. Even better, it should have been applied to their parents. Retroactively.
We can start with abortion supporters.
