The one-way valve bypasses the filter for exhaling.

Better advice:
Keep your shoes outside or sterilize them with a spray.
If you walked through mud you wouldn’t track it through your house.
If you’ve been to a populated indoor area you’ve walked through all the virus that has been in there that day.
Of course, I’m no doctor or whatever.
Never worn a mask, but I do take my shoes off.
The valve is supposed to let air out more easily. It has a mesh over it, not sure how nuch that stops droplets, but it's probably reasonable. One purpose of masks is to catch droplets when people are speaking, not necessarily exhaation.
I just pretend to wear a mask. It's fake, made of toilet paper.
Which mask type do they recommend for spray paint, smoke, tear gas and pepper spray? Asking for a friend :-)
No. The exhale valve is not filtered. One hospital gave me one of theirs when I showed up in my industrial N95
They can KMA. I have reverted to using a bandana because I can’t effing breathe.
They have gotten into bed with CNN with the radio app I listen to. I’m tired of being preached to!!!!!!
Same here. Just got back from the grocery store and my mask required state and didn’t wear a mask got a few dirty looks from Karen but I really don’t care at this point.
