NEW YORK — Hundreds of workers rallied Monday outside the Trump International Hotel in Manhattan and the Massachusetts Statehouse to protest systemic racism and economic inequality — an effort that organizers hoped would grow into a nationwide strike in which tens of thousands of people walked off the job....

About 1,500 janitors in San Francisco walked off their jobs and planned to lead a march to City Hall later in the day, according to Fight for $15, a labor group that supports raising the U.S. minimum wage to $15 an hour. McDonald’s cooks and cashiers in Los Angeles and nursing home workers in St. Paul were also striking, the group said....

frankly, it looks like this effort failed. Bigly.

1500 janitors in San Fran? How the heck can you tell if they're working or not?

true story: the local media in MIAMI FLORIDA ran this "strike" as a story today--like it was going to really make an impact.

Oh no the city is so dirty now!!!

I mean the financial district is shut down right. I can’t imagine there is much work right now. Retail stores closed. Restaurants are take out only, no bathroom access. Like everything is closed.

Jeff Kuhner this am said Mass has the NUMBER ONE HIGHEST UNEMPLOYMENT in the country.

if you are at a job that you can “walk out of” to protest.

How easily would it be to replace that person?

With almost 20% unemployed, employers will it will be relatively easy to find a new butt for that unoccupied seat.

Uh huh. Go ahead and do it and you face would plastered all over the internet as the racist that fired someone for wanting racial equality. That's how they roll.

It’ll be easier to replace them when the $600 welfare-booster unemployment supplement expires. Which it most undoubtedly should.

There’s that phrase again, “sytemic racism”. No definition, just the empty slogan. I mean what do they want us to do, change the name of the White House?

There is a lady in our complex raking in the $600 plus regular unemployment. She’ll tell you right out...why the hell would I go back to work...and it was a part time job besides.

Janitors, McDonalds cooks & cashiers, nursing home workers . . .
What no black doctors, lawyers, engineers protesting?

Guess this is just another Red Wave Commie putsch.
Best to call it Red Lives Matter -
or how about “Reds for Mo Green”?

Not to be confused with the great character played by Alex Rocco.
“I’m Moe Greene. I made my bones while you were going out with cheerleaders.”

“1500 janitors in San Fran? How the heck can you tell if they’re working or not?”

They’re certainly not working at that hotel in San Francisco where the mayor put the homeless. They trashed it immediately; blood, used needles, stools, garbage, everything all over the place.

At least some, or maybe all, of the housekeepers went into the rooms and immediately came out, left, never to return. Seriously. I saw it on Tucker’s show, I think. On Fox.

"What “systemic racism”?"

More input = more output.

They want more output for less input without making any capital investments or adding innovative IP to improve productivity. Unicorns too.

Must be a pretty good economy if people can just walk off the job without fear of getting canned.

There’s that phrase again, “sytemic racism”.

Of course they love it because it means nothing which means they can think and act like it means whatever they want it to!
