If you’re old enough to remember, a plot line in books and movies was the wife moving to Reno. Nevada allowed easy divorce—New York didn’t. But if Nevada granted a divorce, New York was required to acknowledge it.
If Hawaii legalized gay “marriage” at some point the other states would have been compelled to recognize the marriages as real and legal. I realize that that was not the basis of SCOTUS’s ruling, but sooner or later it would have been, because the text of the Constitution is pretty clear.

The recognize official acts of other states might well have been 9-0. But it would not have required states to implement gay “marriage” only recognize it as legal if done according to another state’s laws.

Tried twice to listen through her interview....her voice tone and rambling is hard to wade through, annoying doesn’t say enough. Plus I’ve never seen someones eyes wander left and right, up and down, trying to figure out what how she’s going to answer his question and keep the story going according to what she supposedly wrote in her book.
Rreminded me of convicts when they’re telling a ‘story’ that doesn’t fit the actual events or truth.
