This is all common sense. Why Trump and his people didn’t do it already is mystifying. Instead they made Fauci and Scarf the stars , with no other medical and scientific perspectives offered. Stupid. Utterly stupid.
I wrote to Trump in late March urging him to do exactly that. There are scores of doctors with a better pedigree than Fauci who have more rational views of the problem.

If masks don’t work then what does? Tell us how you can avoid getting Coronavirus? If someone if going to cough at you what should you do? I get the purpose of a medical mask not a bandana or cloth over mouth but a medical mask. I get the purpose of covering in public. I only wear it going out and being in public. Trying to avoid getting this junk. I don’t want it.

Example: They reported 2 young people killed in a motorcycle accident, who also happened to supposedly, test positive for CCP virus, as having died from CCP virus. Then news media ran with it :
CCP VIRUS NUMBERS SKYROCKET!
YOUNG PEOPLE ARE DYING OF CCP VIRUS!😱😱😱.
Thus they foment more panic.
There needs to be a serious discussion about not destroying everyone financially, just because the Democrat party thinks it benefits them to deliberately wreck the economy.
Americans have to ask:
If a political party would "take advantage of a crisis", and attempt to actively ruin the lives, and finances, of citizens, in order to benefit themselves, should that party EVER BE ELECTED TO HOLD ANY OFFICE AGAIN?
Also, the extreme level of psychological fear being pushed by the MSM, needs to be addressed. (Watch any MSM/local news casts for reference). This hysterical reporting HAS to be challenged.
For instance-People need to be reminded of how many die from the flu each year, to combat the "Numbers increasing 😱 woe is us!!!" reports.
Also ask how many people die in car accidents? Do we ban people from driving?
How many drown? Do we cement over pools? Stop people from going the beach?
People have to stop and think, AND QUESTION, what the MSM is pushing .
Another thing that would also be helpful, is to talk about places that did not shut down, and how they are doing. (News media will always act like everyone shut down)
It would be nice to begin focusing on how we are going to get back on track. Discuss ideas for rebuiling. Where we want to go. How to get there exc... Try to reassure people that "this too shall pass".
Returning to daily briefings would be a good idea.
Final thought: How about giving new media a place at the table?

Even if they are small outlets: People like Redpill78, TruReporting, Quite Frankly, Brenden Dilley, Kate Awakening, would ask better questions and make conferences more informative IMO.

I am feeling very adrift and at the mercy of my CA governor who just announced that neither of my teens--one in public school and one in private school--will be allowed to attend school in person in 3 weeks. Perhaps not for the entire year. Perhaps longer.
I love Trump but feel so helpless when he just says "schools should re-open" and then just talks about how great the stock market is. I understand that governors have this power and I know it's my fault for choosing to live in a blue state, but we are looking at MILLIONS of American children being denied education this fall. For perhaps a long, long time. I mean I'm glad my stocks are doing well but I would trade all that for the chance for my teens to have a normal life soon: high school with sports, music etc--I feel so sad for HS althetes and musicians right now.
And no one under the age of 18 has died in CA. Kids don't seem to get the virus much, be affected by it much, or transmit it much. And yet their lives are being ripped apart--for nothing.

Resuming briefings brings Covid front and center again, something Trump is trying to get away from. Social issues and crime seem to be the issues Trump is running on now, and the economy if that continues to improve at the rate it has in the last few months. The last thing Trump wants or needs to be dragged into Covid again.
