"White House counselor Kellyanne Conway on Friday advocated for President Trump to resume giving regular coronavirus briefings"

Not sure what President Trump can say to convince people to take the virus serious. A lot of people are so far down the rabbit hole believing the Chinese Propaganda they will never come out of that hole.

Conway’s wrong. Trump should admit to wrongly letting himself fall for and give in to the Fauci fraud and reverse his siccing the military on enforcing Gates’s sick, experiemental mRNA vaccine.

The truth is always good and cleansing.

BTW, wasn’t Sacajaweau captured from her tribe by another tribe? And then sold ?

but I thought Native Americans were all peaceful and respectful to one another, and badness only came to this continent with the White Man?

Why is Dr. Fauci doing modeling photoshoots for fashion magazine covers in the middle of a global pandemic?

By the way, where is his face mask?

Is this appropriate behavior from America’s “top medical expert”?

The world is laughing at us right now because of this. pic.twitter.com/WH3uZW0eyt— Dr. David Samadi (@drdavidsamadi) July 16, 2020

Meghan McCain of all people is complaining that Fauci has descended into a dangerous cult of personality. She’s right.

There was a caller to Hannity’s radio show yesterday.

The idiot said his “conservative” friends are planning to vote for Biden because they are sick of the lockdowns and want them to end. I was yelling at the radio.

First of all, ultra-left wing Gov. Tom Wolfe is responsible for the lockdowns in Pennsylvania. The president had NOTHING to do with them.

The caller was a fool. Worse yet, Sean Hannity and Linda said nothing to correct this moron caller. Hannity and Linda both talked to the guy, but said nothing about the 800 lb. gorilla in the room.....it was NOT the president’s fault; he wanted to END the lockdown.

The caller and his fake “conservative” friends think the shut downs in Pennsylvania will end if the child molester Biden is president.

Like I said, idiots. And that includes Hannity and Linda.

" Doesn't have to be for two hours. "

Thirty minutes tops. Briefings are brief.

Also, the briefings should be about all aspects of the coronavirus pandemic. Trump should show how he has to weigh all the factors to produce the least-bad outcomes. Roll out a new task force, which would include experts on medical impacts of lockdowns (mental health, postponed operations, etc.); economic impacts; security; financial impacts; etc. (Ther's nothing good about the situation.) That would put Fauci & his policies into a broader context.

He needs to not let the reporters speak.

Say what he needs to say, turn around and walk away. Don’t engage the fools.

Keep Birx off of there with her PowerPoints from Hell and the briefings can be brief indeed.

He needs to emphasize early detection and outpatient treatment THEN talk about the growing number of promising therapeutics all while pointing out that massive testing, contact tracing mask wearing and call 9-11 if you can’t breathe is not treatment
Then have Dr Raoult and other doctors who are using early detection plus cure techniques address the press

Well . . . if he did resume them, what would he say? By turning all the responsibility for the COVID-19 problem over to the governors, he essentially made himself a bystander. Some of the governors followed his example, and turned over responsibility to their mayors and sheriffs. In any case, all the states are pursuing different courses, and none of them seem to be working very well. During a daily briefing President Trump could relay information and give his opinion on what others are doing, but this would not be a very dynamic presentation.

Could President Trump take control of the response to the virus based on declaring a national emergency? I don’t know. But if he did, what would he do? The second post down from this one
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/3866246/posts
is a news item that Trump is giving up on having actual rallies and replacing them with phone rallies.

So has President Trump decided that large outdoor gatherings are a threat, and most people would fear to attend, or is he giving up on the rallies because local regulations make it impossible to find a venue? Why doesn’t he make his reasons clear? It is NOT good to be unpredictable in a situation that is already unpredictable. Kellyanne Conway is right—people want to be reassured by a steady, consistent voice setting clear goals. What does President Trump really think is going on right now? Does he agree that the disease has been overhyped and we should be willing to accept some losses to get to herd immunity quickly? If he believes this, why doesn’t he bring out the experts to help him explain his position and the new plan to get there?

Citizens are left feeling adrift, at the mercy of local leaders with different opinions. It’s a very dangerous place to leave voters so close to the election.

Add that Fauci can’t be fired, what else can he do? People keep blaming Trump for Fauci when he inherited that swamp rat.
