White House chief of staff Mark Meadows said on Thursday that Anthony Fauci was wrong to liken the coronavirus to the 1918 flu pandemic, calling his remarks false and irresponsible.
Meadows made the comments on Fox News after rebuking White House trade adviser Peter Navarros decision to pen an op-ed criticizing Fauci, the top U.S. infectious disease expert, which the chief of staff said was not appropriate.
Meadows went on to argue that not everything that Fauci says is correct.
He was at Georgetown the other day and he suggested that this virus was worse or as bad as the 1918 flu epidemic. And I can tell you that not only is that false, it is irresponsible to suggest so, Meadows told Fox Newss Martha MacCallum. Listen, we all say things and do things that we wish that we hadnt done.
My understanding is Dr. Fauci is walking that back and telling the American people that that was not accurate and not based on science, Meadows continued. A spokesperson for the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, which Fauci directs, did not immediately return a request for comment.

hes too soros/deep state
LOL...he THINKS he’s too sexy.
How embarrassing...in the middle of his own dempanic, er, scamdemic...I mean pandemic....posing like a fool.
Fauchi is nothing more than an typical overpaid government employee who has never created anything of worth. Well, maybe a itsy, bitsy more, I mean just a little. He is also a half rate political hack. Definitely that qualifies him to be believed.
It is clear that confusion, corruption and chaos are real high on the list of anti-Trump priorities with the scamdemic.
Keep the ignorant confused to keep ‘em on the plantation.

Meadows is correct COVID1-9 is more like the 1957-1958 H2N2 Flu Pandemic:
1918 USA Influenza Pandemic:
USA Population: 103,208,000
675,000 flu fatalities (est.) = 0.00654 fatalities per capita (15.5x worse than COVID-19 so far)
1957-1958 Influenza Pandemic:
USA Population: 171,984,130
116,000 flu fatalities (est.) = 0.000675 fatalities per capita
1968-1969 USA Pandemic:
USA Population: 200,706,052
100,000 flu fatalities (est.) = 0.000498 fatalities per capita
2020 COVID-19 as of 7-14-2020:
USA Population: 331,002,651
139,143 COVID fatalities = 0.000420 fatalities per capita

Is that the Hong Kong flu?
Interesting that since Meadows became chief of staff, there has been nary a word in the drive by media about him. Is he too clean or they do not want to challenge him?
I think 1968-’69 was called the “Hong Kong Flu”....1957-’58 was just the “Asian Flu”? All those names are “politically incorrect” now anyway! ;-)
From yesterday...

NO: And how long do you see yourself at the NIAID?
A F: I dont see any termination within the near future because I judge [my career] by my energy and my effectiveness. And right now, with all due modesty, I think Im pretty effective. I certainly am energetic. And I think everybody thinks Im doing more than an outstanding job. I have a wife with incredibly good judgment, who will probably give me the signal when its time to step down. But I dont think were anywhere near that right now.
NO: And is that role determined by the president and the White House?
A F: No.
NO: You cant be fired from that role?
A F: No.

How does the H1N1 compare to the list you compiled?
H1N1 (2009) is not even close....12,469 fatalities among an estimated 60.8 million cases in the USA. So lots of cases but not very deadly. USA pop. was about 305,529,000 in 2009 so the per capita fatality rate was 0.0000408. 16x LESS than 1957-’58 influenza pandemic.
The good cop/bad cop gaslighting of Fauci continues.
Many thanks;
in any of those previous pandemics, such as 57-58 & 68-69, did they:
do lockdowns
mandate masks
have asymptomatic people spreading it?
We had a family member who contracted the Spanish flu as a kid, recovered, and lived to a ripe old age. She remembered the time well.
This ain’t the Spanish Flu.
