Using the SPLC to vet police candidates or any other public employee applicant will guarantee no White person who has the required education and a clean back ground will be hired.
Such an applicant will have done hateful things such as voting Republican, liking Trump on social media and if that isn’t found, being an institutional racist due to not being a person of color.

Note that my church was locally declared to be a hate group. Why? We had supported traditional marriage, and one of our associate pastors, at least 40 years before, out of seminary had been a youth pastor at Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church in Florida. That church as you probably know, was pastored by Dr. James Kennedy and was classified by SPLC as a “hate group” because of its opposition to same-sex marriage. So that by extension made our church a hate group.

This new Columbus sure ain't the buccolic provincial town I grew up in! We never knew about race, schmace when I was a kid. The blacks mostly lived in central Columbus and whites lived in the outer suburbs. I never heard hate speech or anything. Everyone got along, until apparently recent times. This is what agitators do when they attain positions of power, like being in the City Council or teaching at the major university in the town.
