Now, if you know how to "math", you will immediately realize that 1183/59310 = 1.9%, and that 6/59310=0.0001
NOT 6%, and 1%. 1.9%, and 0.01%.
Why the error? Well, it turns out that 25-34 year-olds are 6% of the total hospitalizations, and 1% of the total deaths -- because they have the LARGEST number of cases.
The real story is that most of their cases are in an age group that is barely taxing the hospitals (6% of the total hospitalizations), and has a death rate of 1 per 10,000, which I think is exactly TWICE the death rate from a tonsillectomy (1 in 20,000).
Have you EVER heard of someone skipping a tonsillectomy because they were afraid they would die from it?
So why isn’t the governor calling out this BS?
That is some stunningly bad arithmetic. You’d think even in Florida they could do better than that.
They’re adding an extra 90% on it’s rally 9.4% of what ever they say
They are liars! Already leaking out that they’ve been cookin’ the books
RE: if you do the math....
Have to remember math is racist.
You’re dealing in facts and logic, plus math. Not a leftist favorite thing to do.
Do we agree that if Trump loses (God forbid) then on Inauguration Day Fauci will announce: Re-open the country. Covid is not affected by lockdowns and self-quarantines. Pump up the recovery economy for the new Dem regime. Get ready for the boom.
UGH. The chart I read wrong. It is 26 deaths, not 6 deaths.
So the death rate is 0.04%, not 0.01%.
I “mathed” right, but failed reading.
The anti-American, Marxist COVID lying left loves to cook the books folks.
FOX 35 in Orlando did some actual investigative reporting of local testing centers and area hospitals and discovered (shocked!) Huge errors in reporting.
Three examples (there are many more).
One lab reported a 98% infection rate. The actual rate is 9.4%.
A VA hospital reported a 76% infection rate. The actual rate, 6%.
And, one lab reported a 100% infection rate. All of these and many other “errors” went into the states official tally and no one questioned them.
And the denominator doesn't including asymptomatic infections that haven't been tested.

Per the CDC, corona deaths for the week ending 7/11/20 were 181 nationwide. For 7/4 they were 302. These are esentially zero in a population of 300 million.
Yesterday’s story was about howvthe numbers are being misreported,,,i say deliberately.
I trust none of them
The numbers are incredibly high here but I know of only two people who have contracted the Covid. My nephew back in March and the son of a softball player on my team last week. The son had a fever of 102 so he was taken to the emergency room last Monday night. They gave him an IV of some sort then sent him home. The father was tested in the hospital where he is a pharmacist and he tested negative, and the son was fine by Thursday and out jogging.
I've been playing softball for about two months now and nobody in the immediate group of about 40 guys has gotten sick.
In our Monday and Wednesday league of seniors, there are over 200 players and nobody has gotten sick..........
Something is definitely wrong with the counting and reporting.......
OH, I should add that one team was given a two week suspension because one their players initially tested positive along with his wife. So to be safe, he had two more tests and both of them came up negative as did his wife.............
