So far, eastern TN has been relatively free of this BS. Some places have their policies (Costco and healthcare facilities). Other than that, some wear masks and some don’t, and I don’t hear about “shaming”. Live and let live.

CDC has instructions on how to make various cloth masks. I gave them a try when Illinois mandated masks for stores. This was before cloth masks were for readily for sale. I got a hold of a rare surgical mask and have been using them ever since for brief shopping trips.

Not a law passed by both houses of the states legislature then signed into law by the governor. The police are not authorized to enforce such an order, the courts have zero jurisdiction (since its not law) to impose the fine upon a citizen.
