Youtube has a lot of blurry videos of the incident that were filmed from a distance, but I can't find any that clearly show what happened. This police officer says the protestor was hit while in the street, and that the car was driving legally.

Can these drivers counter-sue. These scumbags are protesting on streets without a permit issued by the city or state. The streets are not closed down properly by the officials.

Let's ask Reginald Denny for his comments on braking for "protesters." Oh wait - we can't because HE'S A VEGETABLE. He has the IQ of an infant now, assuming if he's still living.

Your post prompted me to look up Denny to see if he is in fact still alive. At last account he was living in Havasu, AZ and working as a boat mechanic. He’s recovered enough to be driving again.

That led me to look up the “mostly peaceful” protestor who threw the brick. He was convicted and sentenced to 10 years in prison, but released in 4. But he more recently murdered a man and is serving 30-to life—if he hasn’t been released because of the China virus.
