U.S. Attorney General William Barr said on Wednesday the prosecution of Roger Stone, President Donald Trump's longtime friend and adviser, was appropriate and his prison sentence of three years and four months was fair.

Disgusting. He has no problem with this, but completely exposed conspirators walk free and will never be charged. We are releasing violent criminals of all kinds, but we need to lock up a man in his 70s for a political crime. This tells me all I need to know about Barr.
And did Barr comment on the fairness of a trial where the foreman lied to get on the jury. She was a massive anti-Trump advocate and lied about it.
Barr is worthless and I can’t wait for the “trust Barr and Durham” crowd.
Totally unfair. There never should have been an investigation in the first place. Barr is way too full of himself on this one.

Even as recently as a few weeks ago he was claiming that his enemies want to send him to jail to die of COVID-19 ... just to shut him up and bury the truth about what he knows.
My immediate response to that was: “You’ve had months and years to tell the world what you know, you jackass. Why the hell haven’t you done it yet?”

When President Trump joins Jimmy Carter and George H.W. Bush in the "One and Done" club, I'll point to that he continully surrounded himself with people who never wanted him to be president in the first place as a significant contributing factor.
You’re right about many of his hires, they’re straight out of permanent Washington. Barr just made a pardon for Stone messier than it would have been, but I’m not surprised by this Bush barnacle. Republicans mostly suck and Trump was at his best fighting them rather than having joined with them. His lousy appointments are making what should be a trouncing of Biden into a coin flip.

Stone is entitled to an order of mistrial on appeal due to jury tampering..
I too have grown disillusioned with Barr, maybe not any better than Sessions.
Barr is loyal to Bush; he won’t help us or Trump.
I can see how PDJT f-—ed up hiring Sessions; we all believed Sessions was sincere and a good choice. But many of his other choices made no sense at the time, and turned out to sabotage him. This, in spite of the fact that there are people out there who clearly would support him — but he chose others instead.

Absolutely true. It has been his greatest weakness, and has caused him and the country an enormous amount of grief. And given his remarkable ability to achieve so much when faced with such vehement opposition, it’s a mystery to me why he has been so gullible in this one respect.
