Still pushing far left fake news 24/7 I see.
1. What are the populations of these countries as compared to the US?
2. How many tests are they doing per day? We did over 4 million tests last week alone, 30 million tests so far and counting.
3. How many of those positives you quote are of school age children?
4. Positives by themselves don't nean sh*t. By far most positives are totally asymptomatic, showing no signs if illness whatsoever even as they get on with their lives as normal.
5. The percentage of positives under 45 that have died is close to zero.

What more you got?

Personally I think public schools should remain closed. Like permanently.

Give parents a refundable tax credit in an amount sufficient to send their daughters and sons to excellent private schools.

Subsidize private schools to that extent and then they become public schools in everything but name. If the government foots the bill then they get to say how they're run.

All the schools around me actually raised taxes. And the stupid people voted to pay them.

There justifiable expenses are way down. The buses are not running. The sports programs are shutdown. The buildings are all but shut down. And they say give us more! And they get it of course.

School property taxes have become confiscatory.

What do we get in return for all the money spent on public schools? Antifa brats!

...................................

My real estate taxes are itemized (Maybe everyone’s are?)

I did the math, 94% for K through 12 plus a Jr. college.

When are middle class taxpayers going to have their rebellion?

BTW...my school tax bill came today. It is sitting on the desk.

I’m afraid to open it.

"Of COURSE cut off funding. Why would he NOT cut off federal funding? If they’re not having school, why would they think they should get money? "

You are absolutely correct but the ink would not be dry on the EO before a federal judge would issue e restraining order. As in sanctuary cities, the President does not havr the authority to withhold funds unless specified in the funding legislation.

No they don’t.

The refundable tax credits go to the parents.

The parents then defend the schools from government control.

Mom’s are very scared and concerned. Trump needs to tread lightly because he needs the woman vote.

I agree but on the flip side of that would be property taxes that will be so ridiculously high.

I think we should get a refund each month the schools were closed as well.

The sports programs are shutdown

I wonder if coaches who are paid continued to receive that money though there were no sports being played.

When a school isn’t being physically used or occupied, there’s less costs for maintenance involved. Just saying this before watching a reactive liberal meltdown in 1,2,...

Online teaching should mean mass layoffs and lower tax bills.

Yeah, but Democrats don't abide by shoulda woulda thoughts. My grandkids are doing schooling from home online. But no layoffs in schools, and property taxes are still high.

Off-topic, my wife had a scheduled doctor's app't today. Doctor cancelled out on my wife going into the office, asking her to do an online visit instead. Asked my wife for stats, such as doing her own stats on weight, blood pressure, etc. All of 15 minutes. Then told my wife she'll be charged for an office visit. This is the new normal, reduced service with your self-service, but no reduction in prices.

That is because the school systems prostitute themselves for that 10%. Take no federal dollars, no Constitutional requirement to follow federal rules in education. Take the Kings shilling, do the Kings bidding.
