From what I understand of the description of the business model, it wasn’t really a viable one in any case.

Honestly, it sounds like they were struggling before the "virus" hit, with the Covid-19 shutdowns providing the knockout punch. The racial/gender stuff is so vague and unsubstantiated that it sounds more like an excuse to close down. The good news is that the idiots that were causing trouble now don't have jobs, so it sucks to be them.
