The Left has screwed the pooch. Even a Marxist can’t possibly reconcile “turn in your guns” and “defund the police” as anything other than a naked power play.
They should have been “woke” back in 1967-68, 77, 92. Unless they were born into a family that believe the police would always be there to protect them.
I have a friend, he and wife Republicans, him a small-l libertarian leaning one, really good guy. But his wife didn’t want more guns in the house, so he didn’t have much (had maybe a shotgun and a .22 rifle).
