She blames the Trump family in general for her father's drinking but of course highlights Donald's behavior. I can only imagine how many times her father was in the hospital. Did she think the family would drop everything and run to the hospital every time her father relapsed?

Freddy Trump died in 1981 from an alcohol-induced heart attack when he was 42, and Ms. Trump tells the story in her book about how his family sent him to the hospital alone on the night of his death. No one went with him, Ms. Trump writes. Donald Trump, she added, went to see a movie.

Fred Trump’s death affected Donald so deeply that he has been a teetotaler all his life. Given the rich playboy show biz life he lived...that abstinence alone, from booze and drugs, show a very determined and self disciplined man.

His children seem to have been raised with the same self discipline, compare the Trumps to any of America’s wealthy families in this age

Its entirely possible young Trump went to a movie because he did not know his brother would die that night. But this kind of hurt and accusation is what tears apart families

Mary would have been 16 when her father died. Why didn’t she and her mother go to hospital with father.
