Mary Trump’s Book Accuses the President of Embracing ‘Cheating as a Way of Life’
NY Times ^ | 7/7/2020 | Maggie Haberman and Alan Feuer

Mary L. Trump, President Trump’s niece, plans to publish a tell-all family memoir next week, describing how a decades long history of darkness, dysfunction and brutality turned her uncle into a reckless leader who, according to her publisher, Simon & Schuster, “now threatens the world’s health, economic security and social fabric.”

The book, “Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man,” depicts a multigenerational saga of greed, betrayal and internecine tension and seeks to explain how President Trump’s position in one of New York’s wealthiest and most infamous real-estate empires helped him acquire what Ms. Trump has referred to as “twisted behaviors” — attributes like seeing other people in “monetary terms” and practicing “cheating as a way of life.”Here are some of the highlights from her manuscript:

Cheating on a College Entrance Test As a high school student in Queens, Ms. Trump writes, Donald Trump paid someone to take a precollegiate test, the SAT, on his behalf. The high score the proxy earned for him, Ms. Trump adds, helped the young Mr. Trump to later gain admittance as an undergraduate to the University of Pennsylvania’s prestigious Wharton business school.Trump has often boasted about attending Wharton, which he has referred to as “the best school in the world” and “super genius stuff.”

“The fact is,” she writes, “Donald’s pathologies are so complex and his behaviors so often inexplicable that coming up with an accurate and comprehensive diagnosis would require a full battery of psychological and neurophysical tests that he’ll never sit for.” At another point she says: “Donald has been institutionalized for most of his adult life, so there is no way to know how he would thrive, or even survive, on his own in the real world.”

This is nonsense, but when she does her book tour, and goes on all the network shows, nobody is going to challenge her on nonsense statements such as these. Look for powder puff interviews of this previously unknown member of the Trump extended family.

But if Mary L. Trump is a liar, how are we supposed to believe her?

Of course, she’s talking about things that happened way before she was born so is she passing on things her unfortunately drug addicted alcoholic father told her? Naturally she feels cheated that she didn’t benefit from her uncle’s success.

And how exactly does she know all this? How closely was she associated with the President on a regular basis?

In her mind, I think it means he was under the spell/influence of his father.

I know the libs are having a field day with this on Face Book. I refuse to get into the discussions.

I have had liberals tell me that, at a businessman, I made my living by cheating others. That is their view of business.

To them, life is a zero sum game. If you have something, you obviously took it from someone else.

You can tell what the deep state is up to and what they’re thinking by how they try to shape the narrative.

In this case, it’s clear they expect Trump to win the election, and feel their only hope is to claim he cheated.

Trump has been in the public spotlight for decades. No way is her statement true.

It means she's a nut. It's pure nonsense. Trump has been front and center and constantly in the headlines of the biggest city in the USA for 40 years. I think if he had been institutionalized for years someone might have noticed.

Ever notice that since Trump rode down the escalator, he's become this evil, white supremacist, uncaring mofo? All the years before 06/15/2015 he was buddy-buddy with the Clintons, Hollywood, the media, WWE wrestlers. Rappers wanted to be like him, even Obama in one of his book passages said he wanted to be like Trump. We all knew who Trump was, he was always in the tabloids and his divorces. We knew who he was.

Damn, that escalator must be one helluva of a mind-control device.

This will be another book like Bolton’s that gets a couple days of liberal media hoopla then vanishes into the void. The excerpts I’ve read online demonstrates the book is simply filed with decades old family innuendo and rumor mixed in with some dime story psychoanalysis (this Niece is supposedly a psychologist). No huge revelations, no “smoking guns” just a bunch of “Uncle Joe told me that Aunt Fannie once said that Donald Trump dad did this and this.”

She blames the Trump family in general for her father's drinking but of course highlights Donald's behavior. I can only imagine how many times her father was in the hospital. Did she think the family would drop everything and run to the hospital every time her father relapsed?

Freddy Trump died in 1981 from an alcohol-induced heart attack when he was 42, and Ms. Trump tells the story in her book about how his family sent him to the hospital alone on the night of his death. No one went with him, Ms. Trump writes. Donald Trump, she added, went to see a movie.

Just think of all the investigations that have been done of Trump and his businesses. ZERO evidence that has stuck for fraud, cheating, “collusion” etc. He may be the least corrupt person ever to have lived in the White House.
