All telemarketers should be jailed. Maybe it would prevent them from entering our homes without our permission.
“I wonder now about my doctor, my dentist, my hospital and etc that have a robot call a day in advance to remind me of my appointment and sometimes leave a voice mail.”
Shouldn’t apply because you already have an established business relationship with them.
This is more for the cold calls IE “Hello we’ve been trying to contact you about your vehicles warranty.”, Or “You are now qualified for (insert scam here)”
Looks like SCOTUS struck down the ability of government to make robo calls to collect debt. So now, both public and private entities arent allowed to do it. makes sense.

I believe those are fine as long as you have business with the caller.
It’s kinda stupid. I average 17 robocalls a day and al,ost all are from fake phone numbers. I report them all the time and am told they can do nothing about it so it seems it is a law with no teeth.
I respond to them, put on a andy kauffman accent and see how long I can screw with them to waste thei time. Normally I dont hear from them again.

I hear ya. I have done that before doing my best little kid voice and calling “Mommy! phone, um she wants to know who it is. Do you want to hear my impersonation of bird calls til she gets here?” and so forth. It is fun to get in their heads.
Robocall companies should be destroyed with nuclear weapons covered in salt and Roundup. B@$t@rds
It also makes the process much more expensive because so few people actually answer their phones. It is a huge deal for the industry.
