Harvard University has announced it will implement online learning for all courses during the coming academic year, while tuition for the Ivy League school will remain about $50,000.

Up to 40 percent of undergraduate students will be cleared to live on campus this fall, including all incoming freshmen, according to a statement posted Monday on Harvard’s website. All Harvard seniors will be allowed to return to campus in the spring semester, with freshmen returning home. However, even those students who choose to live on campus will be required to take part in online instruction.

No face to face time with profs. Cut back on cleaning and maintenance services. Defund the campus cops since fewer people will be on campus. But lets keep that tuition money coming in.

I put Hahvad on par with Che University

I wonder if the indoctrination will be as effective with online learning, because that is largely absent the social influence component.

You know, Harvard has an endowment fund of $41 billion.

I checked, and it seems the larger the endowment fund, the higher the tuition that is charged.

I wonder what’s up with that.

Doesn't make one bit of difference.

If people weren't willing to pay the price, the price would change.

” I would leave for a year and do some coursework at a local state school and save money.”

Having a degree from an ivy league school is normally a pass to print money. Harvard will not accept or transfer hours gained at some other, cheaper university. You would have to retake those courses at Harvard to get credit towards graduation from Harvard. (This is true for most schools regarding courses taken at other schools.)

I think that a college degree is simply not worth it anymore. Schools will not flunk out failing students. They simply pass them. (I witnessed this directly as the hiring manager who then called a teacher who had passed a “student of color” who had no knowledge whatsoever about the subject.)

If you want a particular job, say Program Manager or Quality Engineer, you must join a professional organization who will then test you and certify you in that profession. You must then take/pay-for continuing credit hours for your entire career to maintain that certification. These courses are not cheap, so, yes, it’s a moneymaker for the organization. A college degree is no longer acceptable without independent verification by a society specific to that job type. This is because of the low quality of some college graduates.

All federal financial aid to universities should be abolished. If there's going to be aid, at least limit it to technical colleges, vocational, apprenticeships, trade schools, and of course military veterans.

Theodore Lothrop Stoddard (June 29, 1883 – May 1, 1950) was an American white supremacist historian, journalist, and political scientist. Stoddard wrote several books which advocated eugenics and scientific racism, including The Rising Tide of Color Against White World-Supremacy (1920).

don’t know much about Ross- i did run across something that said he later retracted his racist views- don’t know if it’s true- but in the cancel culture society of today- that ‘shouldn’t matter’ because they get people fired for saying something 40 years ago- but if he was a liberal, they will excuse his racism by claiming ‘he apologized’

“Harvard is the new University of Phoenix.”

Hey, hey, the U of PHoenix still has some standards.

And none of their grads killed a woman while driving drunk and then pretended that it didn’t happen.

You can find his The Rising Tide of Color Against White World-Supremacy online, if you look carefully.

It's not nearly as "ray-ciss" as supposed, except by knee-jerk definitions; it's more concerned about White Countries being drowned *demographically*. Almost like today's left is using it, like they are 1984, as an Instruction Manual.
