A Woke Firework Celebration? Were the fireworks all black? They can’t have it both ways.
They closed down all the local stores years ago.
Probably not the best news ever.
In my tiny town, we have our annual 4th of July parade. It’s not a big deal, anybody can be in the parade. Usually a few people with fancy cars, an occasional politician, the police and volunteer fireman, and everyone else just drives their lawn tractor. This year, the village hall denied the permit for the parade because of COVID19. So, today, the folks gathered on the usual street down by lake anyway, and had a 4th of July “protest” instead. The police arrived, and joined the “protest”.
+1
The children’s Winnie the Pooh movie “Tigger and the Jagular” explains everything you need to know about the response to “COVID-19”
Pandering to the lawless wont save you from the next looting but will surely hurt your bottom line when we dont purchase your crap anymore
That show was a tribute to BLACK AMERICA, PBS said.
I was appalled at the first woman singer (sorry, I didnt recognize her. Apparently she is a Broadway star who is suffering from breast cancer). She had on a red jacket and slacks and a t-shirt underneath the jacket that had the BLM logo on it. At the very beginning of the PBS broadcast. I am sickened that our Public station would be so blatantly biased.
We recorded the Macys broadcast. I thought that John Fogerty was the best performer in that broadcast. I did notice a small placard in the background that said Black Lives Matter. Disappointed for sure, but for half his set his daughter (playing guitar) had her leg obscuring the little placard. (I assume it was his daughter as he called his group The Fogerty Family Band)
Not last night. It was blatantly biased.
