Yes, the removal of the silver and the hoarding of the Kennedy halves pretty much marked an end of the half dollar in general circulation.
The U.S. lasted longer than most nations in keeping our silver—1964. WWI made Britain go to 50% silver, WWII made them eliminate the silver entirely. Imagine a time when money was actually pretty much worth what it said it was.

Instead of playing the black national anthem (which no one knew existed) why not announce the names of all the illegitimate children the black players have sired. Then at halftime could announce all of the felony arrests of each player.
It is amazing, how a group of black football player’s kneeling during the National Anthem could cause a little chickenshit commissioner to bend over and hide his face.
The overpaid little chickenshit then does a pump fake and throws the bomb, coming up with a “black national anthem!”

Four weeks ago I said on Twit that the NFL would have BLM logos on their uniforms. I still expect this (the NBA has already gone there.
Recall that two years ago, after the first “kneeling” started, the ratings crashed, the stadiums were only half full, and ESPN nearly went out of business. Then the NFL managed to recover by not including the anthem on TV. But they just got back on their feet then this.
And DON’T THINK “well, muh college.” Nope. All the colleges and universities will cave just as fast.
As earlier, done with all of them. Even the local little league will get woke so, buh bye! No doubt they’ll miss me. NOT! LOL!
