Eventually people get to the point where they just say “whatever” and do whatever they want. The low lives of the world with nothing to lose have already gotten there, and what they want is to destroy everything. The people with stuff and who have been afraid to lose it are getting there now too. Eventually there will be a big shooting war.
Instead of calling it a church service, maybe they can call it a “protest.” That way, they’ll be allowed to do whatever they want.

Us, too — in 2010. I think the pastor of our church there will not abide by these rules.

When looking for new churches after a few relocations, we’ve walked in to a few of those churches. When it came time for “howdys and handshakes”, we fled, pushing people out of our way to escape! Once, a deacon or usher or similar ran after us, but we were faster. Got in the car and sped away.

I've tried to insulate my son and his family against the psychosis pandemic more rigorously than against the coronavirus, and, so far, with enormous success.
Not so with more distant members of my family. They've eaten the lotus and drunk the cool-aid and, apparently, are lost. Let's just make sure the rest of America isn't lost along with them.

I agree that God's people should disobey this order and continue meeting (without counting persons) and especially continue singing. Sing in church, sing in a parade down the street, or, as posted earlier, sing in prison! Jesus is coming very soon. Let Him find us faithful when He comes.
