I am not opposed to an individual choosing to wear or not wear a mask (there are legitimate arguments and concerns on both sides of the issue) or a business choosing to require or not require them. I am opposed to overreaching “mandates” from unelected bureaucrats who think they should dictate to people and businesses how they live and operate.
This is a democracy not a dictatorship. The government answers to you, not the other way around. As such, in these unprecedented times of government abuse of power, I encourage you to make the decisions you feel are appropriate for you and your family.
Freedom is not free. Stand up for your freedom and liberty that so many fought and died for. Do not dishonor them by living in fear of toothless lions in Harrisburg.

I resent being told to wear a mask, but like you I won’t mask shame someone for choosing to wear one. There are people who are at elevated risk and are legitimately concerned.
Independent thinkers should always do what is right by them. Too much in the way of entangling politics becomes a problem that can prevent a good outcome. I try to do what I see as correct for me, and never as a political message.

I was at Lowe’s today (Charlotte) and everybody was wearing a mask except me and another guy that I spotted.
