Clay County, Florida, Sheriff Darryl Daniels is not messing around with rioters and looters. He put out a video on YouTube warning potential trouble-makers that his county will not be a playground for foolishness. If we cant handle you, Ill exercise the power and authority as the sheriff and Ill make special deputies of every lawful gun owner in the county and Ill deputize them to this one purpose: to stand in the gap between lawlessness and civility, said a white cowboy hat-wearing Daniels while flanked by his deputies.
Do not mess with this Sheriff If you come to Clay County and think for one second well bend our backs for you, youre sadly mistaken, he said. The second you step out from up under the protection of the Constitution, well be waiting on you and give you everything you want: all the publicity, all the pain, all the glamour and glory for all that five minutes will give you.
Daniels, a black man, has nothing good to say about Black Lives Matter either. Dont miss this.
Watch the best thing youve seen in 2020. If only we had a lot more like him.

HOORAY Clay County, Florida, Sheriff Darryl Daniels!
Arm up, PATRIOTS
Retired police will flock to Clay County and find kindred brethren.
Yep, this is where surviving the prog mobsters will go.
Some judges will try to jail them but will fail when they realize it is their only protection.
.
AMAZING they label it?
Not at all. Shape of things to come is more like it.
If you take away the men with guns (police) who keep the barbarians in check, you will soon see men with guns keeping the barbarians in check.
It’s a great statement.
Does he realize that some of those gun owners are gonna be on the other side? Fun tough talk, but in practice, really bad idea.
This is not amazing, actually. This is my Sheriff, Darryl Daniels. I’ll be voting for him again in a couple of months.
So what. This used to be standard practice in the US. Posse comitatus.
If some lefties want to refuse to answer the call, let them. If they want to show up and cause trouble, they’ll be outnumbered.
No it didn’t. He’s talking blanket deputation of everybody with guns, including strangers, and as I pointed out possibly rioters. Old days of posses you picked your people, and you went with folks you knew could be trusted. Not “hey everybody with a gun, including you bad guys that are why we’re arming in the first place, let’s go”. That’s just dumb. Sounds cool, but where the rubber meets the road there are tire spikes.
Bullshit. We need more men like this sheriff/
Not bullshit. And no we definitely don’t need more sheriffs randomly deputizing any rando with a gun. THINK PEOPLE. How does he know he’s not deputizing Antifa?
Glad you are not the sheriff.
If he actually does what he says he’s an idiot and it will be a disaster. And you stopped to think about it for even half a second you’d see that. Really: how will he know he’s not deputizing rioters? if you can answer that I’ll consider it. If you refuse you’re just as big an idiot as the sheriff.
In common law, the “posse comitatus” was basically indistinguishable from our Consitutional concept of the “militia”, at the county level. By default, it consisted of all the armed, able-bodied men in the county.
Now, in practice, you are right, Sheriffs usually just deputized “picked men” rather than calling up the entire force of the posse, but by definition, the posse comitatus does include everyone that can get up and walk and shoulder a rifle.
But in practice, if the sheriff does as he says, he’s a freaking moron and he’ll turn his county into a war zone.
I’m believing what he said. He said all, all is a bad idea. If he’d said “all that pass background and qualify” I wouldn’t be gain saying him. He said a stupid thing, I’m pointing out that it’s stupid.
