They’ve already brought a lawsuit in Seattle, but unfortunately I believe they can only successfully sue the city, not the political leaders, since they have immunity. So it is the taxpayers who will suffer, not the bad actors.
“The Democrats are planning to herd people Into socially engineered communities.”
The Democrats are going to find that it’s not a simple matter to herd apex predators.
When the mayors say stand down and the DAs say we wont prosecute thats what happens.
I’ve noticed for years the arrogant and ignorant “it can’t happen here” attitude. People weren’t paying attention.
Pray for America. Meanwhile, I'm headed out to our local gun store to see what guns I can't live without.
Why not sue the politicians? They DID take an oath of office, right?
With murder-anyone associated with decision-making or with carrying out policy (or, failing to carry out policy) have to bear responsibility. Don’t they?
Yes, if you can show some dereliction on their part, then you could invalidate their immunity and successfully sue them. However, I think you’ll find that very rarely works in court. There has to be some very clear-cut evidence or the court is going to err on the side of believing the official was acting in good faith.
Because liberals in power agree with the violent liberal mobs.
Well-maybe... but “believing the official was acting in good faith” may not protect them in a case where a death is involved.
Also, with a class-action suit- businesses (especially in THIS economic climate) may succeed, because no city or community can re build if businesses are not shown that leadership takes responsibility and actually CARES about business owners.
If leadership ‘gets off the hook’ so to speak, then what business wants to rebuild... or what business wants to locate in that community?
MacDonald lists a set of what should be horrifying stories and statistics, but for some reason, I dont care.
Yet.
I’ve been doing that for 50 years and have pretty much run out of ideas.
Doing what? Praying for America or browsing gun stores?
