The Republican National Committee (RNC) and the Trump campaign raised $131 million in June, breaking a record that “eclipses the total raised in any single month of 2016,” the RNC announced Wednesday.

In total, the RNC and Trump Campaign has raised $266 million in the second quarter, marking a 71 percent increase over the first quarter.

The RNC and Trump campaign have now raised a total of $947 million, and have $295 million cash on hand.

“After yet another haul of record-breaking support, the voters are speaking loud and clear – they support President Trump,” RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said in a statement.

This comes after former Vice President Joe Biden and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) out-raised Republicans in May, $80.8 million to $74 million. At that time, the Biden campaign and the DNC had roughly $130 million.

And on top of that all that money sent to Black Lives Matter wound up in the DNC’s coffers.

Oh I know. It’s sick. And the blue something or other that’s raising tone of money. Thankfully money isn’t a deciding factor for voters.

I've always felt people underestimate Biden. He's a career politician and knows how to win elections. There was a reason why he was selected as Obama's running mate. He is definitely a dangerous opponent.

That being said, trying to defeat an incumbent is statistically unfavorable. Trump has a positive message and has accomplished so much in so little time - it's mind-boggling when you honestly look at it!

All Biden has is the Democratic machine and a negative message. Plus he is now talking about raising taxes! It's really hard to understand how that is a winning strategy. However, people can stay irrational longer than it makes sense.

The big spinning top is that we have had to endure almost 4 years of negative coverage from the MSM and non-stop on-going attacks from the left. The riots are just another attack on not just Trump, but now our entire way of life and the Constitution of the United States of America. These are very strange times.

This race will come down to street money and the get out the vote 3 week effort.Democrats have excelled with that. In 2016 they took that part of the campaign for granted. They wont let that happen in 2020.

Trump and the RNC need to get street smart..more than ever before. 6th

>>>indeed ... dozens of nattering nabobs of negativism trolls here at FR have been screaming for weeks that biden was massively out-raising Trump ...

Well - let's see - for April, May and June - Biden and the DNC raised $282 million compared to Trump and the RNC's $266 million. He outraised him (Trump) by 10 million in June - and outraised him (Trump) by almost 7 million in May.

So - do you just have a problem with math, reality, or both?

Or maybe it's just the issue that people are saying "massively" when they should just say " biden was out-raising Trump?"

So - what is it?
