JACKSON, Miss. (AP) — With a stroke of the governor’s pen, Mississippi is retiring the last state flag in the U.S. with the Confederate battle emblem — a symbol that’s widely condemned as racist.
Republican Gov. Tate Reeves on Tuesday signed the historic bill that takes the 126-year-old state flag out of law, immediately removing official status for the banner that has been a source of division for generations.

I had read conservative warnings about Tate Reeves but assumed falsely that he was the best available candidate. And what about Ron Johnson and James Lankford declaring war against Christopher Colmbus. Will they also order the renaming of all the cities and counties whose names honor Columbus. And the treacherous John Cornyn is going to change the name of Fort Hood, Texas.
Now if it read "In gods We Trust," they would nail it.
WORDS mean something. In GOD we trust is not god. As long as our nation declares its trust in GOD, there is still hope for AMERICA.
Huh? You can have whatever bumper sticker you want, but our culture doesn’t bear out that we trust God. Or even know Him.
