TUCSON, Ariz. — Gov. Doug Ducey announced new measures to control the spread of COVID-19 in Arizona at a news conference Monday afternoon.
First, the governor said bars, gyms, indoor movie theaters, water parks and tubing in Arizona would be forced to close for 30 days. Pools will be allowed to remain open, but can allow 10 people at a time, Ducey said.
The executive order goes into effect at 8 p.m. Monday.
We’ve also gone to Safeway without a mask and they didn’t say anything.
What is closing in FL ?
Not that I am for any of the particular rules but wouldn’t:

be at least somewhat more “scientific” if the number of people was related to the size of the pool, and not a one-size-fits-all rule?????

For some bizarre reason everybody thinks that the economy can take this beating. That business can survive this this wild random shutting down. It won’t. Its going to crash hard. Period.

I want to know if they did contact tracing and actually determined that gyms were spreading the disease, or if this is just more fear-mongering using questionable scientific “recommendations”.
It does appear that bars are being tagged as spreading the disease, as this has come out in three different states now. But how can we be sure?
Anecdotally, I’ll tell you that we have very high mask compliance in the areas of Virginia I am in, and we are starting our phase 3 July 1st, and our numbers have been dropping steadily.
My wife goes in for testing in the morning. I havent got it from her yet so..
Anyways, she had severe headaches, joint aches and fever.
I might be immune to it..

My millennial niece was just told by her employer in Washington DC that she has to work from home until at least January 1st. She’s a leftist attorney working for a “nonprofit.” Six more months of bullsh*t shutdowns, my, what a nice paid vacation for her!!!
This is EXACTLY what the Rats are up to: announce shutdowns lasting until the end of the year, this is the Rats’ Hail Mary attempt to defeat Trump in November.

Went last week to Indianapolis where most things were pretty much open.
It felt so wonderful to actually live!!! Hugging people, shaking hands, getting together with a big group of friends and family.
The risk of Whu Flu is so worth it. I pick a full life over living as a shut in!!! Can’t do it.
Now I truly know I would rather die on my feet then live on my knees.

I think he could have targeted specific areas instead of the whole state, like Abbott did in Texas.
