A Texas prosecutor has resigned and will be replaced by another prosecutor after reportedly sharing a post on Facebook that compares protesters demonstrating against police brutality and racial inequality to Nazis, the Harris County District Attorney’s Office told ABC13 on Monday.

Kaylynn Williford, who works for District Attorney Kim Ogg, shared a Facebook post comparing protesters to Nazis, according to a screenshot shared on Facebook. The district attorney’s office confirmed the post was Williford’s, according to ABC13.

“Wedding bands that were removed from Holocaust victims prior to being executed, 1945. Each ring represents a destroyed family. Never forget, Nazis tore down statues. Banned free speech. Blamed economic hardships on one group of people. Institute gun control. Sound familiar?” the post read.

Williford is the trial bureau chief in the Harris County District Attorney's Office. She has served in the position since 1992, according to the office's website.

Tearing down statues. Destroying storefronts, ala Kristallnacht. Physically assaulting people who say things they don’t agree with. They sound exactly like Nazis to me. They just need the fancy uniforms.

From years of being online, leftists hate, absolutely hate it when you call them goosesteppers or brown shirts and the like. Funny, they seem to have no appreciation of history.

I had that ultimatum once, about 26 years ago. It was good that my boss was a kindly man, so he allowed me to do the whole resignation letter thing, making it easier for me to find a successive job.

“Anti-fascists” don’t like when you expose their Nazi tactics.

...Had people fired from their jobs, banned from public discourse, and shunned for deviating from the only belief system approved by the Party in Power...

Yup. He was right over the target.

Too easy to use Nazis as an example, as most people aren’t as familiar with the Chinese Cultural Revolution, but there are indeed, a lot of parallels between this and the Chinese Cultural Revolution.

You want to be secure from doxxing, snitches and proof of your systemic racism, let alone your white privilege?

Abandon Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and all the rest of social media NOW. You can live without it and chances are you will lose career, home and family with it.

An email recently went out to the Harris County ADAs informing them of a public service event that looked a lot like a campaign photo op for the DA, along with a reminder that “public engagement” events like that are considered in an ADA’s evaluations. Basically strong-arming government employees to campaign for their boss.

But this senior ADA makes a twitter post on her own time, and she is forced to resign.

Kim Ogg, the DA, is a friend of mine, but if this is what is going on, she needs to go.

I couldn’t agree more. Some on the right say we need to be on those platforms to be part of the “national conversation,” but I say you are just fighting on ground chosen and prepared by the enemy.

I can only think of one monument the Nazis purposely destroyed. Was a WWI monument blaming Germany for everything. Wording on it was a big middle finger to Germany. Hitler ordered all WWI monuments and statues protected, even ours. There’s tons of bad things the Nazis did but destroying statues isn’t one of them. They did steal several. Puts them one up on the protestors.

Truth is truth.

Stick up for it and if your boss is a wimp, make him fire you.
