Recent Humans with Archaic Features Upend Evolution

BY JEFFREY P. TOMKINS, PH.D. * |

FRIDAY, MARCH 29, 2019

Ideas shaping the concept of human evolution have largely played out through images. Characters with large brow ridges and sloping foreheads—including Homo neanderthalensis and Homo erectus—have consistently been depicted as the earliest forms of evolving humans. Now, new fossil evidence is turning the whole paradigm upside down.

That’s nothing. The only difference between me and a gorilla is the grooming, and even that I don’t bother with on days off.

He’s not a throwback. He’s just the original wolfman from the old black and white pictures.

Here’s hoping America’s disgust with the left causes millions of people who have never voted before to come out in November and throw water on the bent bastards!

Boy that would be great. Who would these people be?. They should be targeted by Trump’s people.

White male high school graduates vote for Trump overwhelmingly. I wonder how many there are that didn’t vote last time?

Under-40s are brainwashed. Bringing them out is likely to bring out more 'rats than conservatives. So I would concentrate on over-40s; i.e. the more affluent, employed people not living in mommy's basement.

30% of eligible voters didn't vote in 2016. More than half are brainwashed. But if just a small fraction of what remains can be encouraged to vote, it could make all the difference.

“Hey. Some of us have our older genes expressed.”

LOL

I have read that geneticists say we have a ton of genes in our genome that do nothing, as far as they can tell. It may be that the “neanderthal” genes are still there, but for whatever reason do not get activated, with most people. LOL

That possibility comes from the other thing geneticists have learned - epigenetics. Some genes are “triggered” to activate or inactivate due to chemical “triggers” that arise in the environment around the cell. The source of the trigger can be environmental - entering from outside the body - or it can be created by some other gene that for some reason (stress hormones???, energy wavelengths other than light - UV, gama, ect, or who knows what) starts making a chemical that sends the trigger to a gene to “wake up” or “go to sleep”. The geneticists have seen it happen in some particular occasions and have been studying it to see what they can learn by trying various ways to make it happen.

Maybe there were “earth changes” that provided the triggers for the mass inactivation of “neanderthal” genes and the mass activation of “homosapien” genes? Or maybe that’s stretching the concepts too much.

I agree. That’s a terrifying chart and looking at it quickly I would have assumed Trump was the loser. This country is in so much trouble in a few decades.
Well it’s in a lot of trouble now it will just be in more
I don’t know. Maybe it’s always been that the under 40 crowd votes left. Maybe not as extreme as this. they are stupid and idealistic and believe in nonsense at those ages. But by 30 they shouldn’t

But he has a pointy chin...

I thought the neanthertals and early humans did not have pronounced chins.

Besides... who is to say that features don’t get independently evolved? I don’t think this means anything.
