B.S. Nancy. The issue has zero to do with the CDC “not wanting to offend the President”. The issue is who is going to enforce such a “national” mask-wearing mandate. The issue is that the federal government’s role is not that of a local law enforcer nor is local law enforcement to be the hand maiden of some federal law on something like wearing masks for public safety.
Typical of the Dims, Pelosi does not believe in our government, our form of government and will do anything to expand the role and power of the federal government, just for that alone as the true purpose - expanding the role and power of the federal government - not to solve any true problem. The Dims want a unitary government with states and localities as mere creations of and extensions of the federal government, a federal government deciding and running everything. Why? You can’t get to a truly socialist country any other way.
Who will enforce this?...the Police?..Aren’t they against the police now? Maybe after they set up an office of Racial Distinction they will hire the appropriate percentage of melanin enhanced people to walk the streets enforcing reparations and mask-wearing.
