Nope, not even close. WW was the most racist President we ever had.

FDR rounded up American citizens and put them into concentration camps (FDR's own term for them) simply because of their ethnicity. He gets my vote as most racist, though the field of racist Democrats is long and deep.

Oh come on, Republicans and Democrats all were on board with doing that, it was War.

I am not going to Monday Morning Quarterback on that when I wasn’t there.

What if we go to war with China, do you think there won’t be plenty of Chinese here working for China to win?

“So is Eisgruber gonna tell us the Constitution don’t apply cuz the people who wrote it were “racist” in his view?”

Invalidating the Constitution has been the goal/plan of the Left for decades.

Sorry, I disagree with a lot of things FDR did, but I can’t see him as evil. Just can’t do it.

“Wilson’s racism was significant and consequential even by the standards of his own time,” added Eisgruber. “He segregated the federal civil service after it had been racially integrated for decades, thereby taking America backward in its pursuit of justice.”

This is, as mentioned, not exactly a new revelation. It was known during and since Wilson’s life...and, yet, Princeton named their School of Public and International Affairs in his honor and kept it that way until this week. Seems to me that those running Princeton are, themselves, as racist as Wilson for allowing and continuing this state of affairs and, by the standards of the Left today, they should lose their jobs and be publicly shamed. Payback’s a bitch, ain’t it!

He resegregated the US military and Civil Service and got the US into WW1 and implemented the first Federal income tax.

He was President of Princeton University before he became the New Jersey Governor and President of the United States.

To begin make *some* amends, Princeton University could change its name to Hetty Reckless University. (After New Jersey abolitionist and escaped slave Hetty Reckless).

Or just shut itself down, and let the campus return to nature.

George Orwell’s 1984 is coming true. This article reminds me of the “ministry of truth” where books and articles were altered to reflect the ideals of the party. History erased.

The old black and white movie made such an enormous impression on me as a young girl. It planted the seeds of my conservatism.

1984 has arrived.

Woodrow Wilson CREATED the Progressive movement within the Democrat party, and was a great advocate of One-World government. The 16th, 17th and 18th Amendments are ALL his, and the League of Nations, precursor to the United Nations, was forced upon the world, and perhaps would have been adopted even by the US, had he not fallen ill of a serious and disabling malady that essentially made his wife Acting President for the last year or so of his second term.

The leftists should be CELEBRATING the legacy of Woodrow Wilson. He made FDR possible.

If Princeton University President Christopher Eisgruber believed in consistency regarding racist institutions, he would order that Princeton be burned to the ground and that he be hanged for leading a racist organization.

Geez, the morons actually found a legitimate target, considering that Wilson also let a bunch of Marxist terrorists into our country while he was in office.

However, sadly, this was probably more appeasement with little public input, either from the faculty, patrons, parents or student body.

“Good riddance to all things named after him.”

WW may have been the worst president ever pre-Obama. I hate that there are statues of him, but I think all existing monuments need to be protected. It’s history.
