Woodrow Wilson WAS a racist. No doubt about it.
That’s really funny, though. It doesn’t seem to matter what good George Washington, Thomas Jefferson or Robert E. Lee did with their remarkable lives, or what good the United States has done. But Yale, the college did so much good over 300 years, producing deep state slimeballs and leftard professors, we just gotta keep calling it Yale.

There’s no concept of balance with these radicals. I too am surprised they would give Yale a pass because of alleged good works by Yale University over 300 years. The criteria seem to be that since Washington owned slaves, he is worthless; since Jefferson owned slaves, he too is worthless. These radicals take one fact and say that it outweighs everything else that person may have done in their lives.
No tears for Wilson who opened the gates for Leftist philosophy in the US government. Arguably the worst President in history.
Winston Churchill was a racist, so saving the world from the uberracists is worthless. He snubbed Chang Kai Shek once.
Now remain it for warren G Harding.

Wilson’s greatest ‘racist’ creation was when he ordered the segregation of the federal civil service, which had NOT been segregated previously.
He treated black soldiers like crap.
Funny, neither in the letter to the Princeton community nor in the board of trustees press release announcing they’ve dropped Wilson’s name do they mention Wilson was a Democrat.
There is only one way for Princeton to prove it really understands its many decades of racism.
They need to take their entire endowment and convert it to cash—and then burn it in a huge bonfire.
That will cleanse them!

Good, this I can support. He was a vicious racist and part of the whole early 20th Century “progressive” movement that strove for birth control, abortion, and euthanasia. Typical Democrat Pol (see tagline).
He was the worst President we ever had.
The father of the Administrative state who hated the Constitution and got the US into WW1 after promising that he wouldn’t.
Oh and his League of Nations was a proto/failed world government.
Bottom line - he sucked and he was a racist to boot.
