I can think of any number of songs that would be better.
What’s the connection between “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” and Trump’s populist message.
Somebody explain it to me, because I fail to see any logical connection. And I’ve watched my share of Trump rallies, including nearly all of Tulsa.
I think the “message” in the song is appropriate for Trump. He’s making life better for everyone, even the people who hate him.
Still, I don’t like that song at all, and wouldn’t have a problem if he changed it out for this campaign.
I like the lyrics of the song Hannity used to have as the theme for his show. I know it’s about a woman escaping abuse, but the chorus is appropriate for Trump:
“Let freedom ring, let the white dove sing
Let the whole world know that today
Is a day of reckoning.
Let the weak be strong, let the right be wrong
Roll the stone away, let the guilty pay
It’s Independence Day.”
Trump is a hugely successful workaholic. He believes in Americans working hard to get what they need.
You can't always get what you want
But if you try sometimes
Well, you just might find
You get what you need
I think that's the part of the song he likes. The rest of the lyrics make little sense.
I think he’d do better to use the one that goes...
“I’m proud to be an American, where at least I know I’m free”
I always thought they should use "I Am America" by Krista Branch, especially during the last election.
Yeah Ive never liked her anyway why not use a song with a more optimistic title and lyrics
I thought the song had something to do with his good friend, John Kennedy Jr. That could be a theory held by some....don’t know how much truth there is to it.
*****Somebody explain it to me, because I fail to see any logical connection.*****
Best subliminal I’ve ever seen.
You don’t get the president you want, you get the president you NEED...
