BEIRUT, LEBANON (3:20 P.M.) The semi-official Syrian newspaper, Al-Watan, published the first scenes of the destruction left by the Israeli strikes in the Hama countryside this morning.
The photos published by the Syrian newspaper on its official Facebook page show the great destruction caused by the raids on some installations, buildings and structures in the Al-Salamiyah District of Hama.
The Syrian newspaper did not state the name of these buildings, the location, or the total number of losses from these strikes.
At approximately 12:45 A.M. (local time) last night, the Israeli Air Force fired several missiles at the eastern countryside of Hama.
This attack by the Israeli Air Force resulted in several explosions that could be felt throughout the Hama countryside.
The Syrian Ministry of Defense announced on Wednesday that its air defenses had responded to an Israeli aggression against a number of its military sites in the Hama countryside.
In a statement posted on its website by a military source, the Syrian ministry said that at 00:45 hours, the Israeli enemy carried out a new air aggression targeting several locations of the Syrian Army in Al-Salamiyah and al-Saburah in the Hama countryside.
They added that immediately after the discovery of hostile missiles, the air defense forces dealt with them and worked to pursue and target them, and to drop a large number of them before reaching their targets, as the damage was limited to the material.
[Yeah, RIIIIIGHT..............]
Urban renewal.
Aspirin factory?
Re: “Aspirin factory?”
No.
COVID-19 surgical mask warehouse.
Baby Milk Factory...............
They look like vacant buildings.
They are now..................
Good eye on you.
Yup, doesn’t appear that anything was in the buildings at all.
But, a wedding party can easily be concealed under rubble like that
..................
Peanuts compared to what the Assad's did to Hama.
I wonder what these purported photos are actually of?
Rubble...................
Where, and what year?
From what I’ve read, Hafez Assad just had his Army bulldoze all the wreckage flat, including the corpses.
In the Middle East, ALL rubble looks alike................no matter if it’s 2 days or 2000 years old..............
Kind of. I’ve read that Assad wanted to leave everthing as is, don’t know about bodies, as a warning to other towns backing the Muslim Brotherhood. Same names always come up. His generals thought that would be explosive on the world scene, and convinced him leveling the city (after over 3 weeks of shelling) would be an adequate deterrent. Don’t know if that’s true. Bulldoze it he did. And effective, lots of the Brotherhood leadership left the country.
Granted, I got the information from the book “From Beirut To Jerusalem” written by the loser Thomas Friedman which I read over 20 years ago. Supposedly, Friedman asked a local where all the bodies were buried and the man replied “right here, under your feet”.
