Tampa is totally leftist and weird. That whole area (Tampa St Pete) is controlled by Scientologists, which adds a whole nother level of weirdness.
One of the complaints agains the Ferguson police was that they left Michael Brown’s body on the ground too long—a form of disrespect for the ‘Gentle Giant’. If the police respond, they are racist, if they don’t respond, they are racist.

A close relative LEO in a large metroplex mentioned this exact scenario to me a week ago as one of his and MANY of his co-workers fears thanks to media’s portrayal.
Did you think the violent protests were over? not by a long shot. The hate-America crowd hates cops too. This cannot end well. The country is sliding into anarchy and chaos, an ideal situation in which to topple our form of government.

Damn, something similar happened here in Charlotte over the weekend. 400+ people at a “block party,” rounds start flying, 100+ shots into the crowd by one estimate...two dead, 12 injured. CMPD rolls in and while no officers were hurt, things got a little rowdy apparently.
BTW, out of those 400+ people, apparently exactly ONE of them has provided any information to the police. I guess those two Black Lives Don’t Matter.

Any driver who touched the pile of trash was taking his life in his hands. The city was finally able to get rid of it by installing a memorial plaque in the grass by the sidewalk.

I’ve been to Ybor City several times over the last 10-15 years. Was there mostly during the day. Saw some historical sites, ate at the Columbia restaurant, bought some cigars, etc.
Liked the place. I knew it was a nightclub place in the evening but didn’t know that it got kinda iffy there after 1AM. I’d have thought because of tourists and clubbers that the police would have good coverage through that area.

Technology has given us multiple relatively newer methods of crowd control. Sound can be used to create great discomfort without damage with this technology dating back to the early 60’s.
